“The Smoke Has Cleared”, but the people of the Pauingassi and Little Grand Rapids First Nations are still in major recovery mode and need your help!

Join us on National Indigenous Peoples Day-Thursday June 21st, 2018 at the Indian and Metis Friendship Centre-45 Robinson Street in Winnipeg for a huge benefit event!

Hundreds of people have been displaced from the recent devastating wildfires that ripped through the communities and aren’t expected to make it home for at least another month.

While construction crews rebuild, we want to make sure our out of town guests are comfortable.

•We will provide a free feast for 500 guests

•Free concert featuring: Fred Mitchell, Chances R, JC Campbell, Ernest Monias and more TBA!

•Children’s entertainment

There will be an account set up for donations at First Nations Bank in the coming days.

Please bring: Cash Donations, clothing, baby supplies, hygiene products and toys for kids. We also suggest gift cards for evacuees to local restaurants, movie theatres etc.

Please come help our friends from these two communities!
