Big Fun Festival and MB Live are proud to present:
Tropic Harbour (Edmonton, AB)
You’re invited to Tropic Harbour, a utopian space constructed by Mark Berg for peace of mind. This headspace has become the moniker for Berg’s hazy dream-pop creations contrived from nostalgic images and dreams of the coast. A musical outlet created out of necessity for Berg to mentally escape his wintery home city of Edmonton.
Shadowy synths and driving beats engraved with vocal loops and seamless singing, Selci takes you into a contemporary pop, ambient dream. Strap on your sparkle shoes and float away, angels.
E.GG is a Filipino hip hop artist and producer from Winnipeg’s West End. E.GG is no stranger to the Canadian hip hop scene, as a member of the Winnipeg trio, 3PEAT, E.GG has toured Western Canada and been nominated for Hip Hop Artist of the year at the WCMAs.
Cassidy Mann is an an indie pop act driven by synths, hooky melodies and personal lyrics. Cassidy’s words are heartfelt and honest, often telling tales of young love and lessons learned. Her catchy melodies and strong voice leave her songs feeling fresh and unique, while comfortable and reminiscent at the same time.
With lyrics as rich as the waters that fill their namesake lake in Northwestern Ontario, Kakagi writes earnest songs about people and places — themes as universal as the Trans-Canada Highway. Emotional yet driving, you’ll be tapping your toes in your winter boots.
