While 1 in 5 will struggle with their mental health in any given year, 5 in 5 (a.k.a. ALL OF US) have mental health, and it's important to engage in regular self-care in order to stay healthy (physically, spiritually, and mentally)! Join us each day following the Fall Mental Health Reading Week for fun activities, informational workshops, and other self-care activities! Tabling and campaigns will be happening EVERY DAY in UMSU University Centre with groups like Active Minds, Jack.org, Healthy U, and Peers, and check out the details for our FULL SCHEDULE below:

P.S.** — BANNATYNE STUDENTS: Wednesday, October 11th from 12:00-1:30 Health & Wellness and the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs will be stoping by your campus for a visit!

Tueday, October 10th
9:00-11:00 am — Paint Therapy in Fireside Lounge: Come show off your artistic side by creating your own canvass painting, free of charge.

11:00 am-2:00 pm — Spirituality Labyrinth in Fireside Lounge: Join the U of M's Spiritual Care to explore pathway's to transformation, an ancient practice that helps individuals foster resilience in tough times.

11:30 am-12:30 pm — Mid-Day Mindfulness workshop in 218 Helen Glass: A drop-in workshop by the Student Counselling Centre to teach individuals about the skills of mindfulness and meditation.

12:30-2:30 pm — Peers Open House in UMSU University Centre — Stop by Peers: Students Helping Students to meet our Peers, learn about the services offered, and maybe even grab a treat and some tea!

2:00-4:30 pm — Paint Therapy in Fireside Lounge: Twice in a day for those of us who aren't morning people

Wednesday, October 11th:
11:00 am — 2:00 pm — Spirituality Labyrinth in Fireside Lounge

12:30-1:30 pm — Living in Two Worlds Workshop in 474 UMSU University Centre: A workshop put on by the Student Counselling Centre to aid those with a bi-cultural identity. Moving to a new country with a new culture is never easy, but embracing aspects of multiple cultures can be beneficial and rewarding. Learn more and foster community with others who are in your shoes! **Pre-register by calling the Centre at 204-474-8592**

12:30-1:30 pm — Mid-Day Mindfulness Workshop in 474 UMSU University Centre

Thursday, October 12
9:00-11:30 am — Paint Therapy in Fireside Lounge

11:30 am-1:30 pm — Healthy U in UMSU University Centre

12:00-1:30 pm — Pet Therapy in Fireside Lounge: Thanks to the U of M Health and Wellness Office, the St. John's Ambulance Dogs are back! Stop by Fireside Lounge for some quality time with adorable doggos and floofers.

12:30-2:30 pm — Peers Open House in UMSU University Centre

2:00-4:30 — pm Paint Therapy in Fireside Lounge

2:30-4:00 pm — Coping with Low Self-Esteem Workshop in 474 UMSU University Centre: Designed for students who would like to learn strategies to cope with difficulties that are common among university students. Put on by the Student Counselling Centre.

Friday, October 13th
9:00-11:30 am — Paint Therapy in Fireside Lounge

12:00-1:30 pm Pet Therapy in Fireside Lounge with Health & Wellness and St. John's Ambulence
