The inexpensive Arduino micro-controller can do it all. This introductory workshop covers the basics of sensing the world with physical computing technics using the Arduino. Learn simple coding techniques and electronics to make your creative media objects move, light up and emit sound. Electronic sensing of light, sound, and motion will be covered.
Dates: Saturday October 14 (12 pm to 5 pm) Sunday October 15 (11 am to 4 pm)
Fees: $90 member / $110 non-member
Location: Video Pool Studio (300 – 100 Arthur St.)
Limit: 6 Participants
Prerequisite: Prior electronics knowledge.

About the instructor:
Winnipeg artist Ken Gregory has been working with DIY interface design, hardware hacking, audio, video, and computer programming for over 25 years. His performance and installation work has shown publicly in Winnipeg, other parts of Canada and many international media and sound arts festivals.
