On the Fall Equinox, the earth’s equator passes the centre of the sun and daylight and darkness are essentially equal in length. We move into a season of balance and stillness, a time to gather yourself inward.
You are invited to celebrate the change in seasons as the days get shorter and nights gets longer with a 108 Sun Salutations practice led by instructor Shivaun Berg.
The 108 Sun Salutations practice is suitable for all levels and, though challenging, it can also be calming and restorative. It's not about perfect form or maximum effort, but about moving efficiently and smoothly with the breath. Child's pose (balasana) is always an option. Allow 90 minutes.
All donations to Villa Rosa Inc. $10 minimum donation ($5 students). Free to members but any donation you can share is gratefully accepted.
