Accepted as a refugee into the University of Manitoba’s architecture school in 1941, Harry Seidler later studied under prominent Bauhaus exiles including Gropius, Breuer and Albers. The film tells Seidler’s remarkable story of persistence, while introducing his legacy of elegant work as Australia’s leading modern architect. This is a Canadian premiere.
